John Edwards
John Edwards was found not guilty yesterday on one count of violating campaign finance laws and a mistrial was declared in the other five. Since the majority of the jury also voted not guilty in those, it seems unlikely that the prosecutor will retry the case. Thus he should be free. Quite frankly I thought that the whole thing was a waste of time and taxpayer money. The guy they should have gone after was Andrew Young. He's the guy who solicited the money and actually kept most of it for himself to build a house.
